Opportunity Amidst the Crisis

We have had interesting suggestions for use of technology in Education. Particularly post the COVID Lockdown, the pace at which newer ideas and justifications are being proposed is truly amazing. Many of us who are Educators, Education Technology experts and businesses have seen an Opportunity amidst the Crisis to promote use of Technology in Education.

As the COVID crisis lifts (hope fully sooner than later), I am sure a new hybrid model and a balance between “going to real world schools” and use of technology will emerge and evolve.

Our Education system has broadly been influenced by the west, particularly the UK. We still tend to follow the same system, more or less. Isn’t in time for the Thinkers of our times, policy makers, Educators, Governments to research, learn and implement some of the very good aspects from India’s ancient education system?

I believe it has been adequately researched by now. We have had great examples of Gurukula Systems going right up to Nalanda University.
