Sustainable Parent-Student Bonding: Opportunity Amidst Crisis

In the traditional School education system, Most likely the Student to Teacher connect is strong, they spend so much time together at school. Student to Parents connection is inherently a strong bonding, but some parents engage with their children in learning activities more than others. During the nCOVID crisis, and the Lockdown; couple of things have changed: Eventhough, technology is used in remote teaching (retaining the teacher-student connect to some extent), the assigning of learning activities and encouraging children to do it collaboratively, has enriched the Parent to children engagement. Most parents are also at home, and it is a good time to engage them in fun learning activities. The parents also send their feedback, the pictures and videos of their children doing their activities. I hope this practise is sustainable until schools begin, and can also sustain in the new normal.
